Default e-brake adjustment

Can you guys tell me where the e-brake adjustment on for my car. I live on a hill and my ebrake goes all the way up but doesn't keep the car from rolling downhill!! Thanks

If that's the case, you may have stripped the gearing. I did... But the dealer replaced mine. If you want to try adjusting it, you can do it under the center console, or if you look under your car you will see a wire tucked near the body that splits into two seperate ones. These go to each rear brake. Make sure they are still connected. Does your brake have any tension when you pull it up? Or does it just glide with no resistance?

Try setting the e-brake a couple times while driving at a low speed (5-10 mph) in reverse, which will re-set the e-brake pads, sometimes enough to make a difference. If this doesn't help you will have to shorten the cable, which should not be too difficult to do, but I have not done it on this car yet.
