Default Car is sitting funny

My car seems to be about an inch higher on the left(driver) side. Don't know why this is and I just noticed it. The difference in measurment is from the top of the tire to the wheel well. Anyone have this problem or know what it is?

Yes, same here. I've seen other posts about this, seems to be common. Some people claim it's designed to be that way (which I don't buy). I just recently installed new rear springs (hypercoil) with ground control height adjusters, partly so I could make it level. (Also, ride is much better!)

First, have you lowered the car or had any type of suspension parts added on? I am in the process of doing some supension mods to my WS6 and after I lowered it, I too was sitting pitched over as well. I had made a post asking members here about pan-hard rods, through the posts I ended up talking to Angie at Thunder Racing (sponsors section), she told me that if I was to put an adjustable pan-hard rod on the rear suspension with lower control arm brackets, the car would sit level. This was confirmed to me again after I talked to Brian @ Atlanta Chassis Dyno. The adjustable pan-hard rod allows you to "re-center" the rear end. I prefer my car to handle all around as well as straight line launching. For this reason I ordered the adjustable pan-hard rod, lower control arm brackets, strut tower brace and I'm considering the bolt-in torque arm. I hope this helped...

Actually PATSS/00 is correct. It is designed this way to compensate for the weight of the driver, which is I believe supposed to be 200 lbs.

Yeah, thats what my dad had told me, but the suspension seems way too stiff to move that much for 200lbs. And no, I havent touched anything on the car. It has been in a wreck before I bought it. It was hit in the front right(a fairly low speed wreck). No frame damage, nothing messed up on the inside. Dont see how that might affect how it sits since it hasnt hurt anything else? Thanks for the help!

Check heights from ground to fender lip at wheel centerlines. An inch is about twice the normal tolerance.

For What It's Worth (FWIW): All suspension springs have load tolerances. They are checked by compressing the spring to a given height and measuring the load (pounds) it gives (not the rate, which is pounds per inch of deflection). For a given part number spring, those nearer the high limit of the load are used on the left to compensate for driver weight as ol' Dad said. You can check that the car doesn't drop an inch when a 200 lb driver climbs aboard. It's a fraction of that.

Well, mine was also almost an inch difference, and it definitely _hasn't_ been in a wreck (I bought it new as a special order). And, changing the springs did not change the height difference.
