Default HD revalves are on!

Well I finally made some time to drive up to Stranoparts and have my Bilstein HD revalves installed yesterday.

First off lemme just say there are some great people working up there, had a good day while I was there. While waiting for my car to be finished I sat around and mostly chatted with Sam Jr. in between phone calls he was answering. Folks Sam knows his stuff and I think I learned alot just sitting there listening to him talk to people on the phone and chatting with him.

Now on to the highlight of the day(besides my HD revalves being installed of course). Sam had to run some errands and invited me along for the ride. Guess what we ran the errands in???? Can ya?? I think it was a 01 FS Z28 :2thumbs: more specifically the one that he just placed 1st in the Nationals. That is one sweet handling car he has. He took me the long way and took some back roads to show me what the car feels like(even let me drive for a bit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ). I tell ya if he throws that car around like people say he does at the track it would be one helluva ride  . I'm just riding along hoping my car handles somewhat close to his after my install.

Back to the shop we go and my car is finished so I took it out for a spin and holy cow, noticable difference right off the back. You feel the road more and the body doesn't roll over in the turns nearly as much as it did stock. The car is close to what his feels like so I am more than pleased with his reccomendation on shocks and the 35mm front bar.

Again great people there at Strano's. :2thumbs:

PS: I went to get my car aligned to the specs that Sam gave me,

Camber -.4 -.5
Caster +5 +4.5
Toe 0 0

That was as close to what he gave me without being way out of spec on one or the other. I guess my car just doesn't wanna go with his settings lol. Thanks again.

BTW - my spelling sucks edit
