Spring question...clearance
Spring question...clearance I am thinking of lowering my car, was wondering a couple of things. Do the sportlines go to low to put a set of SLP or FLP headers on... in terms of scraping on everything. I know that they will go on but just how much will they hit.
And how good are the Hotchkis springs?

Re: Spring question...clearance I have SLP headers and Hypercoils. The springs are supposed to be 1.25 drop but I think it was more, almost 2". I have about 2.5" of clearance at the lowest point, and I'm driving VERY carefully!

Re: Spring question...clearance I would not reccomend a spring rated at more than 1.5" drop. I would also not reccomend SLP headers for any car that has been lowered. IMHO go with FLP's. I am sitting on Bilsteins wiht Hypercoils and as stated above I got more than 1.25", Iam sweating my FLP install a little. But I am already running the SLP Y pipe, it hangs pretty low and I have not had much of a problem.
