Default handling ???????????????

Ok the more I read and search this forum the more confused I get.
I have a 2002 Z28 and I now would like to make it handle better. I don’t autoX but I have been known to drive a little on the fast side around turns and nice smooth curvy roads. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

My question is this where should I start (springs, sway bars, LCAs, T/A,)? What will give me the best bang for my hard-earned cash?

I was thinking of springs (Complete Lowering Kit from Thunder Racing) along with sway bars (BMR Front & Rear Swaybar Package with bushings) also from Thunder Racing.

thanks for your help

Consider; You've a new car that is tight and rigid. Any suspension stiffening will accelerate the loosening of the chassis. This is not the most bang for the buck advise handling wise but stiffening the chassis FIRST will give the suspension a vastly superior platform for whatever you eventually do.Weld in SFC and a triangulating STB- 2 points are next to useless. Two years from now you'll be glad you did.

Use the search option.
The answer is somewhere out there.
I am searching the same stuff.
Some pointers I came across was to try to stick with the same brand products. i.e. BMR, G2 etc.
Next everything must be changed. You'll be hard pressed to find everyone say that something should not be changed.
For me, in the next year or 2 I have decided to go with mostly LG Motorsport products (G2) I have read nothing but compliments about them, plus they had an great sale last month for 25% off, I missed out though.
Oh yeah different springs yield different drops, so decide how much you want to lower your car and findout which springs will give you that.

Since you already know that you should get some good SFC's.... My choice was Kenny Brown DD SFC's.

Get some lowering springs. I went with the Eibach Prokit. Lower's it about an 1 1/4. Can't afford the Koni's but went with revalved Bilsteins. He's not a vendor here. So I'll say his name starts with S and ends in O. Went with Addco 32 mm solid front bar and a 21 mm rear bar. I think for a street car that will see occasional autoX it's just the ticket for me. I have BMR LCA's with the rubber/poly combo so it doesn't bind and feels much more comfortable on the street. I also have the BMR adj. PHR. I don't really think that made much difference though. But in case I upgrade to 17x11's I can center my rear better.

As for a STB. I had the Hotchkiss and it really didn't feel any different with it on or off. I sold it and just run without 1 now. The best feeling was the SFC's when they were 1st installed and the new shock and springs.

Like Postal,I used the KBDD sfc's but with their 3-pt. shock tower brace. I also added some additional attachment points for the sfc's.IMHO, no matter which suspension components you choose, you will get more bang for the buck from them if they have very rigid attachment points that can help minimize camber distortion.
