qa1 help please
i have the qa1 coilovers on the front of my car with a "drag" front springs. i am having trouble getting the front of the car to a driveable height. it seems like ive adjusted the coils pretty far, but do i just keep cranking on them untill its a desired height or is it sitting low because of the spring rate?
the car is not a daily driver but i do like to take it out on the street and drive it to and from the track, right now its so low that the air dam will hit on bumps and durring hard braking
as i said i have the "drag" rate springs and the shocks are the 8 way adjustable set to level 4 all the way around (per the instructions i havent been able to take them out to set them how i like them because of the height issue)
thanks in advance for reading this and for any answers and insight you can provide

You have fairly soft springs (in the performance world), you didn't say which spring you are running, but none of the drag springs are very stiff. Combine that with shocks that don't have much damping ability at all (drag shocks are about like "worn out" shocks when it comes to car control) and you have a car that will really pitch forward under hard braking. A drag suspension wants to allow the chassis to move freely to transfer weight. However, when you stand on the brakes, it's transferring weight forward. This pitches the nose down and the air dam drags (from what you said). I'd suggest "real" shocks, or at least better shocks (Drag shocks are not "good" shocks for doing the job that shocks do) and a bit more spring rate would also help.
Be safe.
from full soft for the street. This works ok on my full weight car with the lightest 275 LB
springs.
