Relocation brackets
Who makes the best quality lca relocation brackets? Are the weld-on's best? Do the bolt-on's work as well as the welded-on models? Can I use my boxed-poly bushed SLP lca's w/bolt-in BMR brackets, or do I have to buy the BMR lca's? Any help on these questions appreciated, before I go buying stuff that won't work, or I won't be able to use.... Colonel? Thanks. WJ. Oh, 1 other question: Do the bolt-on brackets require drilling, or do they bolt up to existing holes in suspension? Thanks again. WJ.

Re: Relocation brackets
BMR bolt-on relocation brackets will work fine on your car, no drilling and your SLP LCA's will work. Many people think you need the weld on type but here's a thought, if there welded on incorrectly you're f---ed ( and there are members here who know first hand ). Good luck with your choice.

Re: Relocation brackets
I like the Spohn weld-in brackets. They're high quality and the holes are drilled in the right places so you don't need adjustable LCAs. I've never used bolt-in brackets nor would I. I just feel alot more comfortable with the weld-ins since I can KNOW for a fact that they'll always be there (not saying bolt-ins aren't reliable. I honestly don't know since I've never used them.)
I can't see why they wouldn't work with any LCA. I've used them with Hotchkis and Jay Billingsley's LCAs.
Bolt-ons do not require drilling.

Re: Relocation brackets
I planed on going with the bolt in style until I got a 12 bolt, shouldnt be that bad until then. Cause if you have 10 bolt your gona take it easy on it anyways till the 12 bolt so I would say go for it.

Re: Relocation brackets
I'll give the BMR bolt-in pieces a try. This is a stock cammed & headed car w/SS 3800 converter going in. Running 8.5 ET Drags. If I break them, then I'll weld 'em up.....Rear axle will break before the brackets rip off, I'm sure... WJ.
