Nitto tire size question?

Will Nitto NT-555R 315/35/17 fit on the rear 2000 Camaro SS wheels (17 x 9)

They will fit, but they won't fit properly. I wouldn't do it. Ideally you'll want a 275x40 on the 17x9s or 17x10s or 11s for the 315s. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

So what would be the widest tire that I could go with, 275/40/17 just aint cutting it. I know that I could fit a wider tire on it, so what is my limit.
