Default Easy spring question

I'm getting ready to put lowering springs on my car and was wondering what the easiest way to remove the rear spring is. I replaced the shocks on my old car but Ive never removed the rear springs. Thanks for your help.

undo the shocks from the axle and let the axle lower (putting jack stands under the frame of the car and letting axle hang). then just pull the rear springs out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
