Wheel hop can be caused by a few things. The big two causes of wheel hop are excessive wheel spin and inadequate LCAs. The hop is caused by the tire grabbing, jolting up the suspension, then breaking lose, then grabbing again. Keep in mind also that wheel hop will take your may-break-at-any-time 10 bolt rear and just shorten its life that much more.

I have had very good luch with the Hotchkis LCAs. As for the torque arm - the stock one sucks, but I would not fiddle with it until after you try some LCAs first. I would also leave the torque arm alone until you get a 12-bolt or something like that in the car - the rear end is going to break before the torque arm does.

Also can be caused by a bent torque arm and/or too much positive pinion angle.

In my old 98SS M6, I put on some DR's and it wheelhopped really bad. I put on some after LCA's and it cleared it right up. When I took them off it came right back.

What about relocation brackets? Do you need those or are they just for lowered cars?
