<strong> how do you have your car jacked up? is the suspension loaded or unloaded? </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">SS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> , Drive is asking U an important question that may be the answer to your problem my friend ! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
P.S. Hey, DriveAT/A, now that I think about it, do I want to load the suspension, or jack up the chassis?
Has anyone thought about that or are they just repeating what they've heard?
If you're supporting the body on the jack points and it's level, then there should be no unusual flexing of the body, and installing SFC's is not a problem.
The only difference between the car resting on the wheels versus resting on the jack points is how far away from the center the loading is. In fact, the chassis probably flexes more (sags) when sitting on the wheels due to the increased distance from the center.
As long as the car is level, either on the wheels or jack points, the difference is probably negligible, IMO.
