K-member and Alignment With a bent/dented stock K-member, can I still get my car re-aligned and will it stay aligned??
With a aftermarket tubular K-member, how often do you have to have the car re-aligned??

Re: K-member and Alignment It depends on how bad your stock k-member is bent? Have you taken it to an alignment shop? I am getting ready to install my bmr k-member, and I have heard it is a pita to get a good alignment. Then you have to get an alignment every couple thousand miles....again this is what I have heard, but I have yet to find out for myself. I would just take it to the alignment shop, probably would be around $40..and they could tell you if you can get it back in factory specs.

Re: K-member and Alignment Thanx. I just ordered a BMR K-member so I really don't have to worry about the bent one anymore. Well, from what I've gathered from reading posts and emailing the people who have posted them with questions, everybody talking about getting the car re-aligned every 3k miles has aftermarket A-arms too. I talked to someone just with a K-member and they said they don't have to get it done every 3 monthes. Don't hold meto this, but that's the info I've gotten so far.
