Default A-Arm Replacement

Hi there guys...My dumb *** hit the curb with the T/A and my A-Arm is shot along with a couple of other parts. My question is: Do I need special tools regarding the shock/spring assembly? Any tips would be apreciated. Thanks.

You'll need a spring compressor.

You'll probably want to have the suspension mounting points check by a body shop to make sure everything is in spec. Ususally when there is suspension damage, there is subframe damage as well.

Just a thought...

Those just lift off when the shock/spring assembly is unbolted & removed from the body. (Just did this on my car yesterday.) All you need is basic wrenches & sockets. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
