Had a Lapping Session weekend with these guys
www.thedriversedge.net
It was damp and cold all day Saturday. The track never did really dry out and I was dealing with 100 extra HP/TQ. So I took it easy.
I had spent all week gently heat cycling a set of EBC rotors I had gotten from Barry at Quicktime Performance. Previously, I had cracked a set of DBAs in a day and a half of track use and cracked a set of Autozones after a 1/2 day.
I wailed on them all day today (Sunday). The track dried out this afternoon and I spent over an hour on the track turning a new personal best times. My instructor made a comment about how well my brakes seemed to bite and asked about what I had done to them.
I have an LG G-Stop set up on my F-Body which includes the adaptor brackets, steel braided lines and ZO6 calipers.
I was able to run today's session with a ZO6 Vette on Kuhmos, a really fast RX7 and walked away from a very nice looking 911 Carrera. I had one Miata driver comment about how I was able to brake with his car.
After a quick inspection while still on the car, these rotors appear to have performed flawlessly with a set of Hawk Blue pads. No visible cracks, no shaking, no vibration, no warping.
