Exclamation Rotors

Gettin new rotors for my firebird but need to know slotted and drilled? slotted only? drilled only? my friend says drilled only cuz slots will rip up my break pads twice as fast....anyone know anything about that? lookin to order today so info needed asap.....

Short answer:
Stick with blanks.
Sloted & Cross-Drilled are primarily for looks.
(Even the manufacturers admit it.)

For performance, stick with blanks or slotted ONLY. Cross drilled do not aid in releasing heat, in fact they actually dissipate heat slower due to the loss in rotor surface area. Slotted and/or drilled rotors allow gasses to escape under extreme braking conditions (bonding agents in the pads break down too fast and come out as a gas form which reduces the pressure between the pads and the rotors). Blank rotors work perfectly fine, get the Wagner blanks from Oreily
