handling with 315's?

Re: handling with 315's?
I'm running Yoko 032Rs all around. The fronts are 275s on 17X9s. The rears are 315s on 17X10.5s.
The 315s in the 032s seem to be a bit on the small side for a 315-anyway they seem to work OK with the 10.5 width. It would most likely work better on a 11 inch wheel though. All in all, I'm happy with my set-up. About the only things I do with the car is a few autoxs and alot of play in the mountains. I might try a open practice this year but that will be about it. No road race stuff either so I'm running at a bit of a disadvantage compared to some others when it comes to experience. I am going to get two more 17X10.5s for the front and slap some 315s up front.

Re: handling with 315's?
Go to TireRack.com, they have a spec. chart that shows the diameter of each tire. I think that my Yoko 315s were a bit taller than my Firestone Firehawk 275s. Most speedos are a bit conservative on the calibration, so when your speedo says you are going 60mph-you are actually going 57 or something. If they are just a smidge larger-great, it would fix the error. I wouldn't think it would be enough difference to throw things way off. Don't know for sure as I have 4.10s in the rear with no recalibration so it's off anyway.
