I am taking the assemblies to a shop tomorrow to have them swap my springs. How will I know that the top "cap" will be lined up with the bolt holes on the shock tower when I re-install it? Thanks!

Put a mark on the cap and on the shock body on the old ones and then make a mark on the new ones and ask them to line them up when they assemble them. YOu may be able to turn them after assembly, but I wont swear to that (depends on spring rate and how strong you are) I never tried to actually turn mine. But you should be ok if you just mark the shock body with a marker and ask them to line them up that way. Just a thought....good luck.

I slid the bolts through the strut tower in the engine compartment and was able to turn the bottom of the strut to its original position witn no problems. Changing the spring is an easy job. You can go to a local AutoZone or Pep Boys and rent the tool for free and save some cash.

Thanks guys...looks like I'll just use a grease pen to mark them. I'm gonna take them to a shop because it's only $30 and I dont wanna mess with those compressors...
