help on slick sizes

help on slick sizes ok guys,i want to buy 15x10 wheels,but i dont know if should buy 26x10.0-15 or 28x10.5-15 slicks.the reason of my question is because i got 3.73 gears on my car.and maybe with taller tires i can catch some trap speed over the track.

Re: help on slick sizes The 26" tires will be better with the 3.73's. Go 4.10 gears with the 28". The taller tires will kill your gearing and slow your 60' down. You could opt for the Hoosier 27" tires w/ the 3.73's but that would be about as big as I would go.

Re: help on slick sizes Hi, Im debating the same thing right now and from what I understand with a 28 you will have trim off some plastic on the back of your wheel well area. With the 26 you dont. Im going with the 28 I think. Ryan
