What do you want to do with the car? Street, strip, autocross, track school? Tell us what you want to do and we can try to help out (at least give you a better answer). Thanks,

Kevin

I am going to be using it for some strip and mostly street. I want a stiff feeling suspension with hardly any role.

The SLP will decrease body roll somewhat, but I don't think it is what you are asking for. Most lowered cars don't hook well (as well?) at the drag strip (but a road race/autocross car will drag race better than a drag car will autocross). Limiting body roll on these cars takes more spring rate (and possibly sway bars, depending on your preference) than the SLP kit provides. It is a good OEM compromise, it won't ride stiff enough to offend many people, but it won't handle well enough to satisfy the racers.

For increased handling, some of my personal recommendations are:

Very aggressive (race)-

Ground Control (www.ground-control.com) coil over kit (or Global West)with double adjustable shocks (Koni) and 750-950 in lb front springs and 250-275 in lb rear springs. Tubular control arms with heim joints and matching panhard rod, 2 or 3 point strut tower brace. (tubular front control arms aren't required, but nice if they are in the budget). Diamond style subframe connectors (SLP, etc), and weld them in. 1LE sway bars if needed...that is enough spring that you will likely run stock bars.

Pretty aggressive (agressive street setup)-

Koni DA shocks, Eibach pro kit (H&R stage 2, Hotchkiss, etc) springs. Same control arms, subframes, etc. 1 LE sway bars if needed (drive it and see).

Budget-

Control arms, panhard rod, subframes etc. Eibach pro kit (H&R, etc), Tokico Illumina 5 adjustable shocks (cheaper than Koni's and good shocks). Sway bars if needed.

Set your alignment at roughly:

-1 degree camber
4.5 degrees castor
0 toe

It will handle well and tire life will still be reasonable.

These are just my suggestions based on my experiences (others ideas will be somewhat different). I'll toss my signature on here and you can see what I'm running for now (until I ecide more is needed). Sorry this is so long....good luck!
