Default Squeaking

I have a nasty squeaking noise from my car when I’m going over bumps and things like that, should I grease everything up or should I invest in new springs/shocks? Thanks so much. By the way I have 76k miles on my 01 Trans Am.

hard to say without more info but dry or worn sway bushings are VERY commonly noisy after a while. Push down on the rear of the car and if it squeaks while bouncing, I'd try the sway bushing lube.

Personally, I'd keep the springs you have but shocks are a great idea on our cars. Bilsteins or if you want to do it really well, Koni SAs. I just put Bilstein HDs on my car and it's a new creature. They may or may not be causing your noise but are a good thing to replace at that mileage anyway.

Good luck.
