Default What is the differences / Advantages between these two LCA's

I have been thinking about adding a set of LCA's as my next mod and I know I will do it eventually if not now. I have been looking at the regular tubular BMR LCA's or the X-treme Duty LCA's. What would be the advantage of getting the Xtreme LCa's? Or should I just stick with the regular Tubular ones. I race the car alot as many of you do so I am always seeking out any advantage I can find.

Thanks for you input and if any more info is needed just let me know.

I would pass on the extreme duty LCA's, I think they sell them just to feed ego's, and I personally would not buy the tubular LCA's either.

I do have the boxed poly/poly LCA's by BMR, and the information I have obtained from fellow posters is that "anything BOXED, is stronger than its counterpart which is TUBULAR".

If you are gonna do nothing but straightline stuff, then a poly/poly LCA will be just fine.

However, the poly mount will bind while turning due to body roll.

A poly/rod end LCA is a great compromise between price, noise and function.

I got mine from LG Motorsports.

I have almost 10K miles on them and they are as quiet as the day I bought them ...

Just another data point

The main reason that I had been looking at the tubular LCA's was that I heard they weighed less as were almost as strong as the Boxed and that was the reason that I thought about the Xtreme duty since they are thicker they should be close to as strong as the Boxed LCA's. That is my thinking anyway. If it helps I was also planning on getting the LCA Relocation brackets. I am just trying to weigh out my options. And also this car will be raced alot but it is also my daily driver for now... I am just looking for improvement on my 60' time.
