Default Relocation Brackets a must?

Are they a must with lowered cars? I have UMI's LCA's but I don't have the Relocation brackets. Oh and I'm Lowered 1.5 inches with Eibach springs.

When you lower the vehicle you change the geometry of the rear lower control arms, this usually either causes wheel hop or tire spin. The relocation brackets will correct this and in most cases eliminate the traction issues. If you are interested in a set we have a weld in option and new bolt in option not yet listed on our site.

If you have any questions please ask. Thanks!

Perfect the UMI sponsor!! Tell me more about the Bolt in application? Will these brackets raise my lowered car? Sorry for my ignorance.
Also how long would they take to get to 95206.

Hello,

Glad to help

No the relocation brackets will not effect or change the ride height of the vehicle. The bolt-in application is a 100% bolt on and requires no drilling, they are direct fit. They run $79.95 a set and can ship currently in 2-3 days. We should have them on the web site in the next few days. If you would be interested just let me know.

Hope that helps!

What if you have adjustable LCA's, do you still need the relocation brackets?

All adjustable lower control arms do is allow you to move the rear end forward or backward if needed, this is common when running a extremely large tire. The relocation brackets correct suspension geometry, which in this case is the angle of the lower control arm. When you change the height of the vehicle it changes the control arm angle. For example you want the control arms to sit parallel with the ground or angled slightly towards the rear of the car. When you lower the vehicle it puts the front of the control arm lower then the rear which is a change in the angle. If you see the picture and link below this should help with the information.

hey, thanks for the info. That pic said it all. It looks like the control arm in the pic is lowered 3" rather than the 2" setting. Is the 3" a little better than 2" as far as traction?
