http://phantomss.com/camaro/c5calipers/index.shtml

The calipers are a direct swap. The rotors are not. I believe the fbody and c5 rotors have different spacing and different parking brakes so its not a direct swap. Also, as you'll see in the link, you have to use a c5 anti rattle clip on each of the rear calipers and it MAY require slight modification to clear the rotors. All other fbody hardware is interchangable. Im doin the swap this weekend so i'll let you know if I run into any problems

based on what ive heard from other people and my research so far, you will not notice a vast improvement from simply swapping out the rear fbody calipers with c5 calipers. The only difference between the two is cosmetic and the casting that was used to make the two (pressure vs. gravity). You will notice more of a difference with a change of pads, brake lines, and doing a flush of the brake fluid than changing the calipers. Im just doing mine so it matches the red calipers in the front

I will get some pics up and everything after saturday night

ehh depends on what your doing. From a road race stand point, the LS1 cars have too much rear bake bias. But I have to admit yall did get the shaft on calipers.

Thats the only reason Im wanting to change out the rear ones too, so they match. Dont want to just spray paint the rears.

its mainly for drag racing for when i stage it up at the line, mine wont even hold at idle when we had the car up in the air so i need somethin better, and we bled the brakes god knows how many times so at this point im pullin one of these with the stock lt1 pieces

If you brakes cant hold you car in one place with it in drive at idle then adding bigger brakes is not a solution, more like a band-aid.

just got em all installed. everything bolted on fine. I used rear c5 calipers with all other fbody hardware including brake pads. I still need to get the c5 anti rattle clips as the fbody ones wont fit it but for the moment they are working fine without them.

You'll find that your pads wear unevenly without those clips. They get "caught" in the texture of the cast iron PAB and can taper really badly. I'd get the proper parts on it quick.
