AGX Struts and Shocks
AGX's are a 5. Revalved Bilstein's are a 7.5.
Adjustment is one factor, but if the adjuster is crappy and it changes the valving in ways that aren't helpful what good is it? AGX's go from soft to hard. They can actually damp a lowering spring in rebound, but they also have very coarse changes in damping and change the compression damping as well. And what we really want is a change in rebound damping and not compression damping along for the ride. It's a a cheap, chintzy adjuster and you get what you pay for. Note that "stiff" does not equal the best handing, that's a complete misunderstanding.
Revalves are not adjustable. But they damping curves are reworked to mimic a Koni (since I use a lot of both) at a given setting. What that setting is depends on what other things are going on with the car, parts and use wise.
