Default question for fbody shocks?

ok after reading all 7 pages in this area i have a very simple question.

stock shocks have 60k on them.

i want to replace.
the car is my daughters dd 02 v6 stock height, stock springs.
with the straight line track visits approx 2-3times a month on street car nights.
no autox or rr for this little car..hahaha
reading that the bils hd's can be harsh.
qa1's good for strip
koni's out of the question.

i dont want to blow cash on something that wont work decently on both street, dd use, and the occasional track visit.
but i also dont want to spend more on shocks than what it would cost to do a v8 swap either (pun and fun intended )

opinions and suggestions welcome

Not sure what people call "harsh".

Bilstein HDs are a fantastic shock, especially when compared to stock.

A set can be had in the low 300s. Shop around.

Out of your choices, I second the HD's.
