Default 9" Rear T/A

Ordered the UMI non adjustable torque arm but it will not clear the moser 9". Any other non adjustable transmission mount t/a that will fit?

Note: the problem is that the mount is too thick, so i can not slide the t/a far enough down to get the bolts in. I actually removed the mount from car and without cutting into it theres just no way for it to slide down enough.

You mean it can't slide far enough inward (towards the center of the rear)? I'm assuming the problem is with the rear holes?

Our non-adjustable torque arm actually needs some grinding in order to clear a 9".. it can be done but needs ground down.

If you want, I can exchange you out for our transmission mounted adjustable arm if you want to pay the difference. It will clear the 9" just fine and will be a much better set-up for a 9" install.

Just let me know. Thank you,
Ryan

I tried the grinding and thats the reason i wont return it. But it looks like it would need to be cut.

Its a beautiful T/A. Very well built. Just cant get it to fit.

This is where it hits. This whole "wall" would need to cut out.

I had a customer just install it with a 9" Moser as well, he did the same thing you are doing. He said he got his to fit after quite a bit of grinding... I currently don't have a 9" here to try it on. Let me know what I can do to help I will be glad too. If you want to mark where it needs cut and send it back we could trim it up nicely for you? It will just be some down time

Let me know. Thanks again

That sounds good and sorry you had to do that, I really don't think you will hurt it at all. If it breaks call me up and we will replace it, but I don't see that being a issue

Thanks again for the understanding!
