Default SJM line lock.

I'm planning to install only the SJM line lock kit. (For now I want to leave the ABS system intact.)

Could someone please tell me if the SJM line lock kit causes the ABS in-op light or any other service-brake-light to come on?

Thanks!

Mine did not cause any lights or malfunctions of any kind.

That's good to hear. So I guess only the guys with the ABS delete are getting the ABS light, which makes sense lol. Thanks for chiming in.

It can cause the light to come on after an extended burnout, but this is not due to the line-lock itself, rather the rear tires spinning for a long time with the fronts not doing anything. It makes the computer freak out for a minute, but it goes away.

The same thing can happen on the dyno FWIW.

The SJM piece is really nice, I've been running it for almost two years now, and haven't had a single problem with it. The only thing that I've done is rewired my switch setup into a single aircraft-style covered switch so that I wouldn't have to hold the momentary. I just flip the switch up to arm and smack the cover down to roll out.

If you have any further questions call Steve10, he'll answer them for you.
