Default Bilstein install question

I did the front driver side shock/strut already and after I got everything all bolted up I realized that I left off a washer that sits on the shaft of the shock at the point where the shaft becomes a little larger. It sits between there and the rubber boot, is this washer so necessary that I should pull it all apart again?

yeah, it supports the bushing. I would replace as needed.

For the sake of doing it right I would take it back off and do it again.
