vibration in 5th and 6th

vibration in 5th and 6th just what the title says. I have a vibration in 5th and 6th. It doesn't matter what my vehicle speed is, could be 40 or 100. I don't notice anything in 1-4 gears. My car is an '01 ss with all the bolt-ons, huge cam, adjustable rear suspension, florr mounted ta, and a 9" spool w/4.57 gears

last time that happend to me, the tq arm was loose. the time before that, i had a miss (fouled out plug), and the larger loads made the miss more apparent. try putting it in 3rd at like 20mph, and give it some gas, see if it sputters

I will, but I can garuntee that the car is not missing at all. I'm beginning to think that something is wrong in the trans itself. I may take my torque arm off and install the stock piece just to rule it out.

good idea^ but here's the story for that. Last year I had a strange 12 bolt with 4.10's then 4.30's. I had the torque arm, and a strange driveshaft. I had the vibes last year also. That rear exploded. Only thing I changed was the rear itself and the shaft. I installed a 9" with 4.57 gears and 3.5" driveshaft. Still have the vibes. So before I rip into the trans again, I may install the stock ta to rule out that poosibilty
