Strange Double Adj. front shock problem.

It doesn't seem that a lot of people have used these based off searching for experience with them. But when trying to get the lower shock mounts bolted to the lower control arm, the holes on the shocks are about 1/8 each too wide. So when trying to bolt them in place they don't fit. Seems like I'd have to drill out the bolt holes on the shocks to make them fit....you wouldn't think that since I spent $250 per shock. Anyone know the secret??

Yeesh. I'd call Strange and make sure you got the right part number. Is it like that on both sides?

it's the right part number on the box and on all the other stuff.
Both sides are the same. both off by 3/16

I just did my front coil overs and the bolts go in from underneath. Maybe that is the problem. I used Edelbrock IAS shocks with Eibach Pros with stock bolts (except that I corss-threaded one liike an A$$!).
