Default Brake disc recommendations?

Well since i keep hearing how slotted/drilled rotors actually hurt performance, what rotors should i get? I need new rotors and i want hawk pads. Any advice would help, also should i get aftermarket calipers or are stockers ok?

Blank rotors, example: Brembo OEM blanks (available at TireRack and Sam Strano, both sponsors). The stock calipers are fine unless you've damaged them.

Bendix is just fine, but for High performance I would probably assume Wilwood or Brembo.

Im using rEBC edstuff pads right now and my brake lines arent even completely bled and I still see better braking than stock. I will install EBC yellowstuff soon, Ill let you know how that goes

BTW Im using Valvoline Synpower Dot 4 brake fluid.

What about the C5 brake conversion kit. I have been reading other threads about the conversion, but i dont even know whats all involved with the conversion. Is it the C5 brackets, C5 rotors, C5 calipers, and brake pads? And if so where can i buy the whole kit outright at?

A search will get you all the info you need. If you cant find anything. I'll try to do some searching for you, but I dont have the time right now. BTW, UMI isn't the only one making brakets and there is a difference among the brakets. Some can use the stock calipers. Some require C5 calipers.
