Rusted Rotors

I have stock rotors that are rusted in the center, not where the calipers touch. Any recomended product, or anything that can take it off? Someone told me to just scrape it off with a steel brush.

take them off and to a shop, have them glass beaded...they will come out bare metal...

I paint mine with caliper paint and it looks good. Itd be best to paint b4 the discs are installed.
