Is there still tension on the lower A-arm? I had to use a large hammer to pound it out.

I have tried with and without tension and a 10lb sledge. Almost a whole can of PB blaster is gone as well. I am going for an air hammer next. This is freakin insane. No wonder he couldn't align the car. Can't get the bolts loose.

Is the lower A-arm bent at all? Are you going to replace it? I hit a curb and bent mine almost in half. I had to break out the sawz-all to cut it into 2 pieces. I then could remove the bolt.

I really don't know if it is bent. The tech said maybe, but couldn't give me an answer. I matched up one from my 97 and it was right one. Before I took it in it was just a tick off, now it is crap. I think something screwy is going on at the alignment shop. F@#$ it, I am just putting her back together and someone is getting a better deal on the sale.
