Default which struts for cut springs

i plan on cutting my front springs a little to lower the the front of the car about an inch. my question is which struts should i put on to handle the lower springs? koni's are not an option, idont really want to spend that much money. so i was thinking either bilstien or kyb agx. please give me some insight, because i know it will ride like crap with stock de carbons

Worrying about ride yet cutting spring? ....

If those 2 shocks are all you are going to pick from bilstien then, possibly look into revavled ones from strano.

I would advise from cutting springs at all.

I would just buy a set of springs that gave you what you wanted. Cutting is not the way to go.

Yea, cutting springs is usually a bad idea from many reasons. Heat from cutting can/usually will distort the spring and alter it's properties somewhat. If you aren't exactly dead on you can get an uneven drop, and the car may pull to one side. It's just generally not a good idea.

Basically if you're shelling out the money for shocks, why not go ahead and do it right with new springs?
