Default SFC's going in

Well, i'm getting ready to do my first real mod to my 1998 T/A. I have a shop putting in my UMI boxed SFC's tomorrow. It was tough to find a shop around here that wanted to do the work. The guys i'm going with seem to know what they are doing. They say they've put this style in before and he said all the right things, such as "Anywhere we weld, we touch it with paint." Which reassured me.

are you having them bolted in or welded in? I love my boxed subframe connectors but I feel every bump in the road now.

Hello,

Make sure they weld the rear mount too where they bolt to the control arm mount. For some reason many companies don't weld this area but it should be done.

Hope that helps and good luck with the first mod

Yeah, I gave them the instructions, which came with the pictures and bolts. He looked at me like I was smoking crack when I mentioned "Oh, they weld in the back too." He gave me that look like "Of course, dipshit."
