Question Spring swap trouble

Decided to do my spring swap today and things were going fine till I reached the drivers side. I can't get the second torx bolt to break loose from the strut. It's the one that under the brake master cylinder. I've got a torx bit which worked fine one the first one but I can't get any leverage on the second one. I loosened the brake master cylinder already which helped a little but not enough. Is there a better tool for removing the bolt or do I just have to break down and remove the BMC, which I really don't want to do?

just remove the 2 master cylinder nuts and move it out of the way to the left.

You don't have to break the lines. It will move with a little prying.

Cool I'll give that a try. I also went to the parts store and picked up some different torx bits. i.e. newer and L shaped set so I think I got it now.

You can also remove the 2 nuts that hold the ABS unit to it's mount and then slide it up and out if it's bracket. That will give you some slack on the brake lines to move the master cylinder out the way some more. A tip that's been floating around once you get the 2 torx bolts out is to swap them with the 2 bolts from the passenger side or just buy new high strength bolts. You will still have to loosen the master cylinder to remove one of them, but much easier than fighting with the torx stuff.

I did the same thing. Unfortunately for me I had to cut the bolt because it was seized. Hope you don't have the same luck I had!
