traction help!!!
w/o chewing my head off about this question, but i've built my car to the power #'s i need, now i need to get it to the ground. i've done all the work on my car to this point, but i have no idea suspension wise. I dd my car, but go to the track a lot. i don't care about taking a 90 degree turn at 100 mph. i want my car to get off the line like a f'in rocket. my short times right now are sad to say the least . what steps do i need to take (other than m/t et streets) to help me get the power to the ground?

One thing will help you get off the line faster than any other mod you can make.
Tires. Get some ET streets and call it a day.
But if you don't want to do that and insist on throwing money at it, you can:
Lower it (lower CG helps traction)
LCA relocation brackets
Adjustable torque arm
Adjustable rear drag shocks
Rear drag springs
etc...

i mentioned (other than et streets.) i'm talking about "break my neck traction" off the line. nothing left to chance. wouldn't lowering the car hinder weight tranfer? i understand that you need weight transfer to the rear tires to help with traction.

Get some 15s or 16s to put on the rear when you're at the track, those 18s are gonna eat your lunch on traction. Other than that and tires, LCAs and TA will make you incredibly happy
