Default brake lines

k did a search really didnt find the info i was looking for

im swapping engines in my car and i dropped the k member to do it and what i was wondering is should the brake lines be changed out. not for a performance upgrade but for peice of mind. not the hard lines but the ribbed metal tubing that is semi stiff but can be bent a little.

when i took the k member out i had to bend some of the tubing to drop the engine so i was just wondering if while i had it out and had full access to all of it shoud i change it. i know people have replaced the rubber part on the caliper with braided steel lines but i was just curious about the other?
