Default Removing and replacing spindle???

Basically, I've got a bent spindle on my passenger side and as soon as my new shocks come in I'm finally going to replace it. It looks like its just bolted right to each ball joint which makes it seem like it would be really easy to replace but like with anything I do on my car it never is. So could someone explain how to get it off without messing up more parts in my front suspension. Thanks.

It's actually just about that easy.

Separating the knuckle from the ball joints is the toughest part.

Set the bottom in first and then put a jack under the a-arm to raise it to the upper ball joint.

Curious where you the replacement?

I got the replacement spindle from a member on here. He gave me a pretty good deal on it. I'm sure it just came off an old junker f-body. Thanks for your help mitch.

I would set both knuckles on a flat surface and compare the 2 closely to make sure the "new" one isn't bent as well.

These knuckles are just cast metal and not strong when impacted from the outside. About 1/2 the used ones I've bought have been bent or tweaked.

Just a precaution ...
