Strut mounts

Strut mounts I'm going to be having new shocks/struts put on, and I was told that sometimes new strut mounts are required. The shop quoted me a high price on the parts, but said that I could bring in my own. Since this is a fairly generic part, does anyone have suggestions where I can get the best deal on these? Auto Zone or someplace like that? I just want a cheap set that I can pick up and return if they're not needed. Thanks.
Don't buy the cheapo autozone specials, they require some sort of funky tool to tighten up the top bolts (to the built-in nuts on the mount). I was able to tighten the outer one using a pair of vice grips, but the inner one is a real PITA and I managed to mangle it pretty good before getting it satisfactorily tightened. Look for ones with actual nuts on the bottom, like the oem ones, or prepare to be very frustrated!
