Springs without Shocks?
Springs without Shocks? 02' Z28. Everything as far as suspension is stock right now. This isn't a drag car/race car. If anything, in the near future I want to go with a stiffer set up for better handling - not dragging the car. I want a pretty normal/good looking set up like most people have here. I'm looking at the Eibach Pro-kit for the springs. They lower the car about 1.2 inches. Also, I just bought 19x10/18x8.5 rims, so the car needs to come down. Do you think this will bring it down enough to look good with those rims. And do you think I can do the springs only, or should I do shocks and springs together. I'd like to do only springs but not sure if thats a good idea.

As someone who ran lowering springs for a loooong time without changing shocks, and recently installed a set of KONI's, trust me, you can do it, but you don't know what you're missing. I have a whole new enjoyment for my car. It had gotten to be that I couldn't drink anything while driving for fear of hitting a bump, but now I can actually drink my morning coffee while going to work.
