We were working on a friends car doing baer brakes and the pass side brake like snaped in the process of taking the "soft line" off of the "hard line" it was the hard line that cracked...any quick fix for this, like should we be able to go to the local parts store and get a little more line and a splice type thing or does this not exsist and we are screwed?

 

uuhhh, I don't think you can "splice" brake lines you would need to follow the line back to the next fitting and get a new line from there i think.... not positive though.

I would never "splice" a brake line though, we're talking about your brakes here. Don't go cheap on brakes.
