soft pedal please help

hey guys just installed a sjm line lock in a 01 ss today and ive done it on my 02 z in the past did everything the same but the pedal is still really soft. this mind sound pretty stupid but should i just try to re bleed the brakes? i think im doint it right. pump and while holding open valve until all comes out then tighten and pump again right? does the car need to be on? thanks guys and sorry for the dumb question

also forgot to mention that this car has tcs and the book says take to a dealer?whats that all about? also says to bleed the abs modulater?im confused please help
