not sure about the bolt in over the weld in, less bend in the weld over just a bolt i guess. but i hear better things about the single SFC. The 3-point gets in the way of the exhaust, if you decide to go true duals later.

i have a set of the old kenny brown double diamond welded in similar to slp version but first to market..... go 4 the diamonds adds more chassis stiffening... and weld them bolt holes are known to oval over time

I've heard from a few people that bolted them in first and later welded them in and they could tell the difference. Welding them aiding in the stiffness. It's also very unlikely you'll need to remove them later on.
In the case of the SLP, the bolt ons are powdercoated while the weld ons are raw. In that case I would get the bolt ons and then weld them in.
