Question Relocated Panhard bar....drivers side

Looking to gain a little more clearance on the drivers side for my new exhaust setup and came across this picture. Anybody know who has done this? Any problems doing it as long as the welds are strong and I use an adjustable panhard bar?

pretty cool idea. the main purpose of the PHB is to keep the body centered over the axle. as long as you have enough thread on that thing to safely adjust it out, and the welds are strong, i dont see any problems

I've heard you want to keep the panhard bar as close to parallel with the rear end as possible. but they sure don't come from the factory parallel on these cars. I'm thinking/hoping an inch or so lower shouldn't hurt anything.
