Issues swapping between HPS and HP+ on same rotors The following question does not revolve around accepted bedding procedures, but along the lines of differing brake compounds changing the surface chemistry of the rotor and or pad.
Is there a strong argument against swapping HP+ for a weekend outing then back to the HPS pads? IE are the two pads similar enough that you will not be compromising braking performance after changing the pads due to dissimilar pad compounds?

I used race pads for an open track w/e, then went back to stock pads for the street and autocross, on the same rotors. They worked fine.

Re: Issues swapping between HPS and HP+ on same rotors No, not in that case. If you were to go from a PFC 01/99 to a Ferodo DS 300+ pr DS 3000, then there would be issues. We cannot run a ferodo on the same rotor after the PFC has been run, BUT we can run a PFC after a Ferodo. I has to do with the resin of the pad make up when hot. in your case, youre OK
