LS1vsLt1 I am looking to get a set of prostars but do not want to grind my calipers, and my friend made a good suggestion of running LT1 brakes instead. Are the LT1 brakes smaller than the LS1?
Yeah, LT1s have single piston iron calipers clamping down on 10.5" rotors vs. the dual piston aluminum calipers clamping down on 12" rotors on the LS1 cars. I'm upgrading from my stock LT1 brakes to the LS1 setup my buddy's taking off his car for C5s.
