Default Brake kits on eBay

There are a few companies on eBay that sell LT1/LS1 cross drilled/slotted zinc or stainless steel rotors w/ semi metallic pads for less than $250/kit on ebaymotors. All are machined etc.. just wondering if anyone has good things to say about these kits or not. I just don't see the point in spending close to $1,000 for name brand parts.

I contacted one of the vendors and they were a bit shady. I wouldn't go with their own pads though. I also asked them a few questions about the rotors and I did like the answers.

If I were you, I would:
- Purchase their rotors, OEM Blanks ONLY and ask them to Zinc plate it
- Purchase some Hawk Pads
- Go ATE SuperBlue Brake Fluid
- Braides Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Hmm, I would be interested in more information about this. Looking to do my brakes here in the next week or two. Which setup are you two reffering to on ebay?

How much work would it be for a Firebird to be able to run ls1 brakes?

Also, with most rotor replacements is it safe to assume its compatible without modification? I have a 99 Firebird and as long as the title displays v6 or Firebird things would work out, right?

Brake setups are the same on all LS1 F-body Camaro & Firebirds, 98-02...

I'm researching a brake upgrade myself.. Check the sponsor rotorsonline.com

The key thing there is LS1. I do not have an LS1. My engine is the v6 model.

That I am not exactly sure on. Call WS6Store and ask them, they sell a great package of rotors for 169.99 I believe.

I do know that one of the companies that sells packages on Ebay is the same company that WS6Store.com buys their rotors from. I have read good things about these rotors and plan on buying them in the next couple of weeks. I don't know if i can say what the company is, since they are not a sponsor, so i would suggest checkin out ws6store.com and looking for the brand of rotors they use.
