Default Alingment Question

Recently I took my TA to get an alignment and the mechanic said he was unable to allign the car due to it being in a previous wreck. Anyway, I took the car to a body shop, and they told me the front LCAs and the steering knuckle needed to be replaced. My question is, do the front LCA's have anything to do with the alignment. My car swerves to the left real bad as soon as I let go of the steering wheel on the highway. Thanks in advance for any help.

they have everything to do with the alignment. its what your shocks and your wheels are connected to. if theyre bent, broken, whatever, then its throwing off your entire wheel position, including caster/camber and toe.

Exactly, well said.

On the bright side, now is the chance to upgrade to some Nice UMI, LG, etc lower A Arms.

I've been told the cast F body spindles can bend fairly easily. And it is common...

Regardless, these are crucial components, that will most definately affect alignment.
