KYB AGX Shock ?
KYB AGX Shock ? I need to change my stock shocks they are shot. I am looking at some KYB AGX adj shocks right now. I was wondering if anyone else has these on ther DD? If so how do you like them and does the adjustments on them really make a big difference on the ride or performance of the shocks? I am planing on lowering the car 1.5" soon and I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on shocks. By the way I visit the drag strip about 8-10 times a year will the adjustments on the shock help me launch or hook up at the track?

They aren't bad shocks if you're not going to lower the car. If you lower it, they'll be operating a bit out of their range when compressing. Only way to lower these cars and make them ride well is to buy some good shocks. Revalved Bilsteins or Konis.
I have the KYB AGX's. You can DEFINITELY feel the difference when you adjust them. Mine were set to 4 and it was little wishy washy. Went to 5 and it's ALOT more firm. You can adjust up to 8 but 5 is stiff enough for my ***. I'm not lowered and don't plan to be scrapping my pipes either.
i've had mine on for the better part of a year now and have nothing but good things to say about them. adjusted mine so that it's extremely controllable when i'm doing power slides, hooks sooo much better, and is very agile especially on the highway. works great for me but i'm not so sure about lowering it with these on. i've never seen a review of these on a lowered car.
In my opinion the AGXs work great on street car that you want to handle well.
They suck for drag racing though. I will be switching to QA1s if I ever get this 12 bolt installation done.
